Creating & Identifying Value in Research
On 14th May 2026, the Technology Transfer Office (TTO), Directorate of Entrepreneurship & Innovation (DEI), conducted an insightful session on “Creating & Identifying Value in Research.” The session brought together patent holders, research group heads, project coordinators, and innovation-driven faculty members to explore how research can be transformed into impactful products, technologies, and industry-ready solutions.
From identifying hidden commercial potential in research to discussing licensing pathways and industry collaboration, the interaction sparked meaningful conversations around innovation and value creation. A special thanks to all the faculty members for their enthusiastic participation and engaging discussions throughout the session.

The session focused on SRMIST's IPR and Startup Policies, patent filing processes, research commercialization pathways, and the support extended through DEI and TTO for innovation-driven initiatives.
